This outline is for the short course, "Introduction to Cardiac Structure and Function".  It is intended as a preparation for students who will be taking a basic ECG course, and who do not have previous anatomy and physiology training.  It was used many times as a prep course for students who were taking a basic monitor tech class, as well as for basic EMTs who wanted a refresher before entering paramedic training (EMT-P).
