This is a ventriculogram showing the effects of Tako-tsubo cardiomyopathy, often known as Broken Heart Syndrome.  Tako-tsubo cardiomyopathy causes sudden, often severe, heart failure, and can be brought about by high levels of stress, either sudden or prolonged.  It is a transient condition, and those who survive have a good prognosis.   For an excellent discussion of Tako-tsubo cardiomyopathy, go to Wikipedia at this link.
