Do you teach basic or beginners' ECG classes? Sometimes searching online for good sample ECGs can be frustrating because the ECG Gurus out there usually post the interesting or unusual ECGs for others to see and voice their opinions on. We do that on the ECG Guru site, with Jason Roediger's fascinating ECG Challenge every week. But, what if you just need "the basics" to show your students, or to make practice packets?
Check each week for the "INSTRUCTORS' COLLECTION ECG of the WEEK". Also, use the search terms in the left margin to find what you are looking for. There are some ECGs in the archives that don't show up in the left margin yet, as that is a new feature. For those, search in the main search tab. Remember, if all you need is a rhythm strip, we have those, too. Plus, you can download a 12-Lead and, if it has four channels, the bottom strip is a rhythm strip. Just open with a photo manager like Irfanview, and crop out the part you don't want.
Email us at [email protected] if you have any requests for ECGs, illustrations, class outlines, articles, or other content you would like to see on the Guru. And to stimulate your own mind and challenge your ECG abilities, check Jason's blog every week for the "ECG CHALLENGE of the WEEK".
